Dakota Fanning continues to work on her latest movie, Effie, on Friday (December 2) in Venice, Italy. The 17-year-old actress, wearing a Victorian dress and headpiece, rode a gondola through the canals with co-stars Claudia Cardinale and Riccardo Scamarcio for the period piece. “Wearing a corset every day has been interesting,” Dakota told the Associated Press with a laugh.
“It really does make you feel like you are someone else in a different time,” she added. “It takes a while to get dressed in the morning and to take everything off … You have to have someone helping you and putting you into these clothes. It just shows how different everything was [back then].”
